什麼是土豆網?

土豆網 (Tudou.com)是中國最早和最具影響力的視頻分享網站,是中國網絡視頻行業的領軍品牌,也是全球最早上線的視頻分享網站之一。土豆網於2005年4月15日正式上線,每天獨立用戶數超過2500萬,每月2億用戶,擁有超過8000萬的注冊用戶。從土豆成立的第一天,我們相信的就是,“每個人都是生活的導演”。我們的目標,讓富有創造力的節目的創造者和分享者們能夠自由地讓自己的節目在用戶麵前出現,同時,也讓每一個用戶隨時隨地都能看到自己想看到的任何節目。
土豆網視頻內容廣泛,包括三大類:
網友自行製作或分享的視頻節目,例如播客和用戶原創視頻;
來自土豆眾多內容提供商的視頻節目,例如電影、電視劇和MV等等。土豆網與2500多家國內外知名的音樂廠牌、內容製作方、內容代理商和電視台建立了廣泛的深度合作。

王微是土豆網創始人兼CEO。 截至2010年8月,土豆網已經成功完成五輪融資,融資總額達到1.35 億美元,投資方包括凱欣亞洲(Crescent Point),IDG中國(IDG China),紀源資本(GGV Capital),General Catalyst,淡馬錫集團(Tamesek Holdings)。
土豆網的主要收入來源於廣告。2007年,土豆網推出了在線視頻廣告係統。該平台能夠幫助廣告客戶便捷的管理預算,並對目標用戶群進行基於數據分析的定向廣告投放。土豆網的廣告包括全屏展示的前貼片廣告、背景廣告等多種形式。目前,土豆網的客戶數量正在迅速增長,現有客戶包括阿迪達斯、福特、肯德基、聯想、摩托羅拉、耐克、百事、三星和索尼等眾多全球知名品牌。
